Cowboy Up!

I recently finished my first M/M book titled Cowboy Queen written by Patricia Logan. I must say it shed some light on some questions I had about male on male relationships. Ricky is one of the main characters who faces many of the same issues and dilemmas women do in their relationships, and Micheal, Ricky's man, well let's just say he is not my favorite character in this book. My favorite character would have to be Maverick do to how he handles himself in more ways than one if ya get my drift. Maverick is a dreamy cowboy who knows how to handle himself and others adding to the enjoyment of reading this book.
This book had a great story line and was not just about sex. However, the sex scenes were hot and steamy so have no fear if this is what you are looking for you have found it. This book was a great read for me and I would recommend it to anyone who is open minded enough to delve into an alternative lifestyle story, you may just be surprised  and enjoy it enough to read another.

Coming of Age!

Having read the book The Initiation of Master Robert written by Sebastian Charles, all I can say is WOW! This book is about a young boy named Robert coming of age in the late 1800’s. It is a memoir and recollection of his fantasies and experiences with the many women he has had his way with throughout his life, and let me tell you, he has had his way with them. This book has given me insight into a man’s point of view on sexual experiences as well as some of the wants they may have.

My favorite part of this book is towards the end when Robert finds out the true nature of his brother Reginald, who just so happens to be favored by their father. I couldn’t help but be happy for Robert as he found out the twisted nature of Daddy’s favorite son. But the best part is who he discovers it from, and what happens during this telling of tales. I found myself feeling a little bit smug as he now had one up if you will on good ole Reginald. I would highly recommend this book to be read with a partner or a favorite toy as it will get you going for sure.

Sex in Public!

      Dirty Poetry Two Stories of Sex in Public, written by Scarlett Knight contains two erotic short stories that are quick and fun to read. I found myself recalling the situations she used and relating them to my own fantasies as well as experiences. These stories are good to read alone but are also great to read with a partner as they definitely do their job well.

      Dirty Poetry, the first story, a forbidden romance is blooming and teeters on the edge of happening. I found myself being drawn into the feelings and anticipation of the characters. I was drawn back to a time when I myself wished and wanted something so bad but was also apprehensive and unsure how to get it.

   The Undressing Room, story number two is equally great and I found it even more erotic. It takes place in a dressing room and in addition to the steaminess Scarlett brings to life, the fear of being caught by others only added to the pleasure for me and also to the characters in my opinion. Both stories are well written and drew me into them. I found once I began to read them I couldn’t put them down.
